How do I tell if my engine is ready?

Watch the status on the Overview and on your engine's page. A new engine moves from provisioning to running on its own, usually within minutes, and we email you once it is up.

Provisioning and running

While the engine is being set up, it shows a provisioning status. When it is ready, the status changes to running. The page updates on its own, so you can leave it open and watch the status change without refreshing.

Where to look

The engine overview shows its status alongside the region or regions, the node count, and the other key details. This is the quickest way to confirm the engine is live and see how it is configured.

The confirmation email

You do not have to sit and watch. We send you an email as soon as the engine finishes provisioning and is running.

If it stays in provisioning

Provisioning usually completes within minutes. If an engine stays in provisioning much longer than that, contact support and we will look into it.
