Use the compose flow to create an engine: pick a node configuration, choose your regions, review the price, and pay by card.
Step by step
- Choose a node configuration. Select the spec class that fits your needs. The spec class sets the size and capacity of each node.
- Choose your regions. Pick one or more locations. A single region keeps every node in one place; multiple regions spread the nodes across locations for stronger fault tolerance.
- Review node count and price. The compose flow shows how many nodes you are reserving and what they cost before you commit.
- Pay by card. Checkout is handled by Stripe for paid configurations.
- Wait for provisioning. The engine enters a provisioning state and moves to running on its own, usually within minutes.
If a term is unfamiliar, spec class, replica node, and dispersion are defined in the glossary.
