Organization billing shows your next scheduled charge, a table of all engine plans, and your full payment history. It is accessible to organization owners and admins only.
How do I get to billing?
Select Billing in the left navigation from the main console overview.
If you see "Billing is restricted," you are a member without billing access. Contact your organization owner or admin.
What does the Next charge section show?
Next charge shows the earliest date a renewal payment will run, how many of your engines are renewing, and that payment is processed automatically via Stripe.
What does the Engine plans table show?
Each row is one engine subscription. The columns are:
- Engine. The engine name and its node count.
- Next. The next renewal or expiry date and how many days away it is.
- Per term. The amount charged each renewal cycle.
- Emergency. How much emergency balance the engine has and how many days of coverage remain.
- Status. One of: Auto-renew, Prepaid, Expiring, Past due, Expired, or Frozen.
What does the Payment history table show?
Payment history lists every transaction for your organization. Each row shows:
- Date. When the payment was processed.
- Engine. Which engine the payment was for.
- Description. The type of charge: pre-fund at engine creation, monthly pre-fund renewal, emergency balance top-up, or a promotional or voucher discount.
- Amount. The amount charged. Discounted payments show the original price and the amount actually paid.
- Status. Paid, Failed, Refunded, or Processing.
You can filter the table by date range, engine, and payment type. You can also download a receipt for any paid transaction.
Where does my money go?
The payment page during engine creation shows the breakdown. Payments are split by the protocol:
- A share goes to node providers, distributed per node.
- A share goes to the protocol (ICP burn).
The emergency balance portion is spent only if the engine freezes; if unused at cancellation, it is refunded.
Can I see billing for a single engine?
Yes. Open the engine, then select Billing in the engine navigation. It shows the plan, term dates, auto-renew status, and a link to manage billing at the organization level.
