The App Center is a curated set of audited, open-source applications you can browse now and install onto your engine in one action. Each app runs entirely on your own engine compute, not on shared infrastructure.
How do I get to the App Center?
Open your engine from My Engines, then select App Center in the left navigation.
What apps are available?
The App Center shows a selection of ready-to-install applications. The current set includes apps across categories such as:
- Team collaboration and sovereign chat (Privatim)
- Low-code app building (OpenBlocks)
- Business operations, CRM, and invoicing (OpenEnterprise)
- Additional apps from independent developers
The full list is served live from the marketplace. The number and availability of apps may change as new bundles are published.
Can I install them now?
The install button is coming soon for most apps. Today the App Center is browse-only: you can see each app's name, description, and what it deploys (its component count and canister breakdown). Once install is enabled, clicking Install on any card will deploy the app to your engine.
Where do installed apps appear?
Once an app finishes installing, it appears in the Canisters section of your engine. The install runs in the background; the console updates the card to "Installed" when it completes.
Can I deploy my own application instead of an App Center bundle?
Yes. The App Center also includes a Custom apps section with two paths:
- Deploy with your AI agent. Install a one-line skill, then ask Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini, or any other supported agent to ship directly to this engine.
- Connect your CLI. Use the ICP CLI to deploy from your terminal using your engine's subnet ID.
The "Upload a custom app" bundle upload option is coming soon.
Can I connect to Caffeine?
Caffeine lets you describe an app in plain English and have it built and deployed straight to your engine. The Caffeine connection is coming soon from the App Center.
